This is a 3 week workout guide. You should repeat the guide multiple times. The more you prepare the easier it will be to focus on the incredible views instead of the trek itself. 

The guide explains that it is a Sunday-Saturday calendar, but that puts your long hiking work on Fridays and for working people/parents, that does not necessarily seem doable.


I suggest reading the guide as a Monday-Sunday calendar so your more intensive work such as your long hikes and longer endurance sessions are on the weekends.
